Michel Rochedy
It was alongside his parents, owners of a modest hotel, that Michel Rochedy discovered his vocation for cooking. He was rapidly initiated to the taste of good things and especially to that of «real» produce on the family’s land in the Ardeche region. Michel Rochedy rapidly developed a passion and continued his apprenticeship under André Pic, an encounter, an experience and a destiny. After contributing to the reconstruction of the family hotel business, Michel Rochedy then decided to conquer new territory, in the mountains. A decision that changed his life forever. Here he met his future wife, Maryse and together they took on a slightly crazy project in 1963. Michel was only 26 years when the success story began!

Stéphane Buron
Over the years, Michel Rochedy has surrounded himself with the best staff. For more than 30 years, four hands have made mouths water. At his side, in the kitchen, Stéphane Buron. This chef from Nancy boasts a CV as attractive as the hundreds of dishes he sends into the dining room daily. He was awarded the Taittinger International first prize in 2002 and “Meilleur ouvrier de France” in 2004. He arrived in Courchevel in 1987, with solid and eclectic work experience forged at the Grand hotel Bragard in Gérardmer, with Christian Willer at the hotel Martinez in Cannes, in Palm beach in the United States and at the Palais de l’Elysée in Paris.

For all those who dream of learning new cookery techniques alongside a Michelin star chef, there’s no need to enroll in a TV reality show! All you have to do is take part in one of the lessons dedicated to taste and gastronomy with Chefs Michel Rochedy and Stéphane Buron. The starred chefs will open their kitchen to their trainees to reveal their secrets, their savoir-faire and their passion.
