Outstanding cuisine
These days, the international reputation of Le Chabichou relies on the reputation of its gourmet restaurant: an inventive, refined and generous cuisine prepared with fresh and local products. For now more than 30 years, Stéphane Buron put all his passion in the Chabichou’s cuisines . This Chef from Nancy boasts a CV as attractive as the hundreds of dishes he daily sends to the dining room. He was awarded with the Taittinger International First Prize in 2002 and “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” in 2004. He arrived in Courchevel in 1987, with a solid but eclectic work experience forged at Le Grand Hôtel Bragard in Gérardmer, with Christian Willer at the hotel Martinez in Cannes, in Palm Beach in the United States as well as at Le Palais de l’Elysée in Paris.

“For the anecdote, it is here, by the fireplace, that Daniel Auteuil presented the preview of “The well-digger’s daughter”. Le Sidonie is a cozy place with a warm atmosphere. It is the soul of the property: a friendly place where we like to relax around a macchiato after a ski day, a pastry for the adults or a pancake for the children. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a vitamined cocktail. Its name refers to Sidonie, the first owner of Le Chabichou. She decided to name the hotel Le Chabichou in tribute to the Sidonie Panache opera in which one of the scenes is named “The Faction of the Chabichou”. Le Sidonie proposes a catering offer for those who would like some velouté or salad, comfortably installed in one of the soft armchairs of the bar.
